Key Pain Points

  • Time-consuming manual processes for user onboarding and permission assignment

  • Lack of visibility into platform usage and organisational infos

  • Difficulty tracking subscription lifecycles and billing events

  • No standardised workflow for creating and publishing marketplace content

  • Version control challenges leading to inconsistent package deployments

  • Inability to preview content changes before making them live

Context

The i3 platform operates as a multi-tenant SaaS ecosystem supporting numerous organisations, each with their own users, subscriptions, and content requirements. As the platform scaled, the need for a centralised administrative interface became critical.

Problem Definition

Without a unified administrative interface, platform administrators faced fragmented workflows and inefficient management processes that hindered scalability and operational efficiency.

  • No Centralised Control: Administrative tasks were scattered across multiple systems, requiring context switching and reducing productivity.
     

  • Inconsistent Permission Management: Role-based access controls were difficult to enforce uniformly across all organisations and user levels.
     

  • Limited Content Oversight: Managing marketplace packages and scenarios lacked a structured workflow with version control and approval processes.
     

  • Reactive Support Model: Without integrated ticketing and messaging, support teams struggled to respond efficiently to user needs.

The Bottom Line

These challenges resulted in reduced operational efficiencydelayed response times, and increased administrative overhead. The i3 Super Admin UI was developed to address these pain points through a unified, intuitive interface that consolidates all administrative functions into a single, powerful platform.
